VX One Australia is adopting bow numbers to help race committees identify boats and record results more accurately.  This is due to the growing fleet and difficulty identifying boats on a down wind finish.  

Currently optional in the class rules, the RQYS 2022 Nationals Committee mandated them for the regatta.  So it's time to get on board.

The following is guidance on the installation of bow numbers.

Placment

Boats with coloured hulls

For boats with coloured hulls or solid graphics, the background behind the bow numbers must be white for maximum contrast.
