Turnbuckles

VX One Australia has investigated failed turnbuckles.  The following provides an update on approved replacement parts.  To reduce wear, it is recommended the turnbuckles are cleaned and lubricated regularly.

Please see attached the 2 approved turnbuckles for use on the VX One.

The Swageturn turnbuckle is the current factory item.

The Argus turnbuckle, has been trialled but the Technical Committee in mid 2022. They are slightly bigger than the swageturn units, so if you’re using turnbuckle spanners, they might need a little trim to fit.

Please note, this is the only rigging item that you are allowed to purchase outside of Mackay’s.
